NFL Week 16 - Picks of the Week
QB (DK/FD)
Ben Roethlisberger (6700/8700)
Big Ben in a game against the Saints with a lot on the line for the division. I like Big Ben to carry his team to a win this week. Saints run D is tough so look for the Steelers to attack via the pass.
Sam Darnold (4900/6700)
This weeks QB on the cheap has had two productive games the last two weeks. At this price I find it hard to pass up. He still has a lot to prove to the Jets fan base as well.
Baker Mayfield (6100/7700)
The Browns are playing the Bengals which are banged up on both sides of the ball. The last two times these teams met Mayfield scorched the Bengals throwing for four touchdowns.
RB (DK/FD)
Christian McCaffrey (8800/9300)
Although he is expensive how can you go wrong? The guy is on fire this season and gets one of the easiest matchups to attack this season (pass catching RBs vs ATL). Not to mention the backup QB is in, so I expect to see a lot of dump offs.
Joe Mixon (7100/8200)
Coming off one of his best games of the season last week he will see the same work load once again. The offense doesn’t have much left missing two of their go to wide outs and their quarterback.
Jaylen Samuels (6700/6700)
The former tight end in college has proven he can catch the ball for those easy points on DK. Last week he also proved he could run the ball and I think he will be a big part of how they beat the Saints. Must play this week as he is still at an affordable price across the board.
Nick Chubb (7300/7900)
It’s been a while since I’ve been on the Chubb train but it only took a quick look back to a couple of weeks ago. Then the Browns jumped ahead of the Bengals fast in the passing game. After that they finished them off by handing it off to Chubb 28 times!
WR (DK/FD)
Eli Rogers (3000/5200)
Making his return last week he saw a great deal of targets. With the Saints hopefully putting a lot of focus on Brown and JuJu fighting a groin injury, I hope to see him into endzone this week.
Amari Cooper (7500/7000)
Although we were off him last week and we were right, I believe this week Dallas is trying to stay in that top spot and they'll have to get Cooper involved. The Bucs defense has been horrible all season long so look for Cooper to score twice Sunday.
Larry Fitzgerald (5200/6100)
Although he hasn’t really gone off this season this should be a week where they are behind once again. Fitz had 7 catches last week. He’s the only reliable receiver on his team.
TE (DK/FD)
Evan Engram (4600/5700)
With OBJ and Russell Shepard out look for Engram to get a lot of targets. He had a productive game last week catching 8 of 12 targets for 75 yards.
David Njoku (3800/5300)
He let us down three weeks in a row going back to the last time they played the bengals where he put up 17 DK points. Look for Mayfield to get Njoku involved early on.
Defense (DK/FD)
Browns (3000/4400)
The Browns D have proven they are a good defense that need to clean up some kinks. The Bengals offense is depleted with injuries. Look for the Browns to run back a pick for a TD this week.
