12/16/2018 - NFL Week 15 - Picks of the Week

NFL Week 15 - Picks of the Week
QB (DK/FD)

Ben Roethlisberger (6600/8600): Even with Big Ben playing through sore ribs you have to expect this game to have a high score versus the Patriots. I expect Ben to get it done through the air against Brady and the Pats.

Kirk Cousins (6200/7800): Now I know he’s been struggling as of late and he isn’t no Tom Brady who just torched the dolphins secondary last week. I expect with the coaching change cousins will live up to his off season contract.

Josh Allen (58007600): With rushing over 100 yards the past two games and 92 in another, how can you not like his upside. For a guy like this it’s basically like having a running back and quarterback and only paying for one. With the lions 25th in the league against QB, we may even see a couple touchdown throws and runs with Allen this week. Plug him in!!!!!

RB (DK/FD)

Joe Mixon (6100/7800): With Green and Dalton out for the year they are staring to lean on Mixon more as he got an astonishing 26 carries last week. I don’t expect much to change versus a weak run defense in Oakland.

Dalvin Cook (6500/6200): Same goes for Cook as Cousins with a coaching change. The head coach has made it very clear he wants to run the ball at least 20 times a game which makes their chances of winning better. He even said that Cook is a great talent catching and running the ball out of the backfield.

Chris Carson (5600/6300): Carson had 22 attempts on 90 yards and a td last week. We know that Seattle wants to run the ball. With Penny out this week look for Carson to get the ball north of 20 times and a touchdown.

Saqoun Barkley (9400/9400) and Ezekiel Elliot (9000/8800): Don’t need to say much about these two if your going to pay up this is where you go. They get it done week in and week out. Both of them are their teams whole offense.

WR (DK/FD)

Tyler Lockett (6200/6700): Doug Baldwin is supposed to play but that shouldn't effect Lockett too much as he has become the go to receiver when they do air it out. He might see a little if Richard Sherman but I really don't think that Sherman can keep up with him especially on the deep routes.

Adam Thielen (8600/8200): Pretty clear we love the Vikings offense this week. Xavien Howard is out for Miami and while he wouldn't have been on Thielen this means Miami has to somehow cover both Diggs and Thielen without Howard. Good luck with that.

Josh Gordon (6400/6800): The Steelers have had trouble with playmaking receivers and that's exactly what Gordon is. This game has the highest total on the slate so you are going to want some pieces from it for sure.

Julien Edelman (7200/7200): I love this play on DK because of the full PPR. Not only does Edelman pile up receptions, Brady loves to look for him in the end zone running those "rub" routes that should be offensive pass interference

JuJu Smith-Schuster (8000/7800): He is still leading his team in receiving he’s become Big Ben's favorite receiver. This game has the looks of a shootout and as always I think Antonio Brown gets most of the attention which opens JuJu up once again.

TE (DK/FD)

Jared Cook (5600/6300): Cook has been Carr’s favorite target of late and honestly his only target. Cincy's defense is weak just about everywhere so Cool could pile up some yards this week.

Cameron Brate (4000/5400): The Ravens struggle against the tight end in the red zone and Brate has been a great threat in the red zone.

Eric Ebron (5900/6500): It seems like this guy scores every week at least once. Now they are going up against Dallas which is 22nd in the league versus the tight end. Look for Ebron to get fed the ball as Hilton may get slowed down this week by that good secondary in Dallas.

Defense (DK/FD)

Ravens (3000/5000): The Ravens are a strong defense and they showed it last week versus one of the leagues top offenses. Although Tampa puts up points Winston is prone to turning the ball over to the defense. The Ravens have been having success getting after the qb as of late as they are at the top of the league in sacks.

Jaguars (3400/4800): Not much to say here we all seen a weaker defense in my opinion last week in the Giants shut down the Redskins. The Redskins come in bagged up all over the offensive side of the ball with the O-line limited and their third string QB.

49ers (2000/3500): Now I know we like the Seattle offense and they have been playing better as of late, but if you want a flier go with San Fran at the bare minimum on DK only. Wilson has a tendency to get sacked a few times and all it takes is one strip sack fumble returned for a TD to get the points you need.
