12/10/2018 - NFL Week 14 - Monday Night Showdown

This Monday brings us a matchup between the Seahawks and Vikings. I was expecting more action in last night's primetime game but instead we got turnovers. Hopefully tonight's game is a little more pleasant on the eyes. On a showdown slate you're expected to plug in the playmakers on each team and our goal is to help find that low owned player to win you a GPP and let you know how we are attacking our lineup build.

This is the time of the year where Russell Wilson takes over games. The problem is that the Seahawks have turned into a ground and pound, wear down the clock kind of team. With Rhodes a little banged up and Trae Waynes out I could see Wilson taking over this game so he's a lock and load for me.

You could try and fit in Wilson and Carson, then run it back with the Minnesota WR (Thielen and Diggs) because you know that's where their offense is focused. I like Kirk Cousins in this game too but I'd rather get the exposure to the passing game through the wide receivers.

On FD it will be tough to get in the above build but DK it's possible with a dart throw or two. So who are tonight's cheap low owned plays?

WR Jaron Brown SEA ($1400 DK / $9500 FD) : This is a great play if Baldwin is out so keep an eye on the injury report. Brown has 3 TD in his last 5 games and while he doesn't receive many targets, he's getting looked at in the red zone which is what we want on these slates.

WR Malik Turner SEA ($200 DK / $5000 FD) :
I will only be looking here on DK if Baldwin is out as a GPP shot in the dark. Turner is more likely to give you a goose egg than 10 points but again, these showdown slates you gotta risk it to get the biscuit as JMoney would say.

That's where I'm going for now. Keep an eye on the Baldwin news. I'll be playing DK tonight and my build will be like I said above. I'll squeeze in Carson, Wilson, Diggs and Thielen then take some shots with the cheap guys and maybe a kicker. Good luck tonight!!
