Last week we went with Ertz for the bad game vs. Dallas and he did worse than we expected. This week we are going back to Dallas to talk about a guy who absolutely exploded last week. Amari Cooper had a day with 10 catches for 217 yards and 3 TD. That was against a Philly defense that was missing 4 of their 5 top cornerbacks, and therefore much more attackable through the air. They also have a solid run defense causing the Cowboys to lean more towards the pass that game. Not to mention the game went in to overtime allowing Cooper even more volume.
This week the Cowboys face the Colts in Indianapolis in a game Vegas is basically calling a toss up giving Dallas 3 points on the road. The Cowboys have an implied team total of 22 the last I checked and I have a feeling this sets up as a let down spot for them this week. Although I do like Zeke because he basically is their offense, you won't find me chasing the 50 points Cooper put up last week.
Cooper goes up against a Colts defense that is middle of the pack in passing defense as far as yards per game. The Colts have also not really faced top of the line receivers all year, but I look for the Cowboys to feed Zeke on the road and milk the clock (that's their M.O.) to keep Luck off the field. This means I will be heavy on Zeke and completely fade a very chalky Cooper (probably over 25% owned).
Bold Prediction : Amari Cooper : 6 rec for 67 yards ... Unless the game goes into overtime and he catches a fluke pass that bounces off a defender for a TD
