12/9/18 - NFL Week 14 - Sunday Night Showdown

The Rams are in Chicago tonight for Sunday night football. The goal of our showdown analysis is to provide you with some off the wall low owned plays to pair along with the obvious plays.

There can be a case made for fading the best player in the NFL in Todd Gurley, especially if you are throwing in that single lineup into a big GPP. Bears sport one of the best defenses against the run yielding only 3.7 yds/gm. Gurley will probably be north of 75% owned so fading him and he puts up a dud you are already ahead of 75% of the field.

With an over under that has went from 54 down to 51 it's still a big enough number where points will be put on the board. If I'm fading Gurley I'm going all in on the passing game of both teams.

Some under the radar low owned plays:

Jordan Howard (DK) : He's only 4300 on Draftkings and could definitely vulture a TD when the Bears get into the redzone. Look what Henry did last showdown slate. All it takes is a long Rushing TD to put you in good position.

Adam Shaheen : TE for the Bears that is just recently back healthy. He had 2 targets last week but one of those was a catch for a TD. At $800 on DK and $5000 on FD, he could allow you to fit in Mitch and Goff. I could see him getting 10 points which could be all you need from a guy as cheap as him.

My builds will start with both QBs, fading Gurley, and finding value on the Bears to pair with some Rams WR.
